How to take care of your raffia bag and hat

Raffia is a natural plant-based material, and to help your raffia products maintain their charm and quality for as long as possible, handle them with care.
Store them away from humid environments and avoid direct sunlight, which may cause dark colors to fade. If your raffia item gets wet or damp, it may become stiff. To soften it and return it to its original shape, simply let it dry in a dry, well-ventilated place.
Gently wipe any soiled areas with a cloth slightly dampened with clean water. You may also use mild soap for cleaning. Afterwards, wipe the treated area again with a dry cloth to speed up the drying process.
Avoid dry cleaning and the use of harsh chemicals.
In case of creases or deformations, raffia can be ironed at 180–200°C (356–392°F), using a cotton cloth as a protective layer.
If you're not using the product for an extended period, store it in a dust bag and keep it in a dry, dark place.
